 Tremé is a television drama series created by David Simon and Eric Overmyer. Premiering on HBO on April 11, 2010, Tremé takes its name from a neighborhood in New Orleans. The series began three months after Hurricane Katrina devastated the city of New Orleans. The series focus is on the residents of New Orleans and their efforts to rebuild their lives, their homes and their unique culture in the aftermath of the hurricane.
